Annual Awards may be made in the following categories:

Scholarships to W-SR students who have demonstrated good citizenship, community involvement, and academic achievement throughout their school careers and are seeking higher education

Awards for W-SR student and teachers for research projects or attendance at unique educational programs

Grants for equipment or material to initiate new and innovative curriculum units in the W-SR district.

Matching dollars for W-SR teachers and students receiving grants from funding agencies such as the McElroy Trust or Carver Foundation.

Travel and associated expenses for W-SR teachers making presentations at regional or national professional meetings or conventions.
