Curriculum Standards & Benchmarks
Curriculum | Development Process | Revision Schedule
Curriculum standards and benchmarks may be accessed in one of two ways. These are:
1. K-12 Standards: This is a listing of all benchmarks and their supporting critical objectives, organized by Standard. For example, within the area of social studies, all of the "US History" benchmarks and critical objectives could be found, starting with those taught in Kindergarten and progressing through to those found in the high school American History course. This organization allows the viewer to see the progress of skills/content development from one grade level/course to the next.
2. By Grade Level and Course: This is a listing of all critical objectives for an area (i.e. science) organized by grade level or course. For example, those wishing to examine all of the science objectives taught during 6th grade, or during Chemistry I, may use this page to do so.
