Our Mission Statement : To promote and support the growth of W-SR athletics and its athletes. 

About W-SR Boosters: The Go-Hawk booster Club represents 19 sports: football, volleyball, girls cross-country, boys cross-country, girls basketball, boys basketball, wrestling, girls track, boys track, girls tennis, boys tennis, girls golf, boys golf, girls soccer, boys soccer, softball, baseball, girls bowling, and cheerleading.  Each sport is represented by an individual that has an interest in that sport.  These individuals make up the Booster Club Board.  This board works together to provide our athletes with many things that would not have been possible without the support of the booster club.  In addition, the Boosters help pay for expenses for teams or individuals participating at state meets and tournaments.

Concession stand profits are an important part of the Booster Club's fund raising.  In order to do this, we are asking the Booster members to take an active role.  The application to be a member of the Go-Hawk Booster club has a place for you to sign up for concessions. This generally involves 3-5 times a year, but we would appreciate it if you would sign up for any sport in which you can help.  Our goal is to have parents work at the events that their son/daughter is NOT involved in, to allow the parents to watch their athletes participate.

Thanks to you, the WSR Booster Club members that provided over $20,000 of support in the 2006-2007 school year and a $500,000 pledge to the new athletic facility.

Business Membership fees:    Levels of membership are  Black & Gold $1000.00, Go-Hawk $500.00, Silver $250.00, Bronze $100.00

Individual Membership fees:    Levels of membership are  Black & Gold $500.00, Go-Hawk $250.00, Silver $125.00, Bronze $75.00, Active $25 

Alumni Membership fees:  Levels of membership are Gold $50, Black $25

If you are interested in joining the W-SR Booster Club there is a form in the sports program or see the link below.  Passes are also available for purchase in the HS office. A six event punch card passes available for $25 or a 20 event punch card pass for $75.  These admission passes will work for any 09-10 W-SR regular season athletic event.  The W-SR Athletic Department appreciates your support.

Facility Parking

General Public attending inside events at Waverly-Shell Rock High School.

Handicapped parking is assessable at the new drop off area near the new east entrance.  This parking space is limited and shouldonly be used for those who have difficulty getting into the building from the parking lot. 

We ask anyone attending high school events at W-SR to park in the east student parking lot. Fans and visitors attending events should always enter through the new east entrance into the new commons.   

Do not park in the drop off zone in front of the new addition entrance. This is limited to buses and emergency vehicles. 

Buses are asked to unload at the drop off zone and park just ahead of that area.

Fund-raisers and other activities:  

• Our main fund-raiser is our membership drive.

• We run concessions at all of our home events.  Concession schedule

• Annual WSR Booster Golf outing has been a huge success.  This is held late July -early August.

• The annual Waverly Baseball Classic is operated by our group in July each year..

•  The Waverly District youth wrestling tournament concessions.

• Sideline fever at home football games has become a popular event.

• Meet the players night previewing the fall & winter seasons. 

• Clothing apparel is available at our Go-Hawk Shop which is open at most home events.

• Cake Auction held each January/February.
